Community AI Agenda Volunteer
We need at least 3 volunteers to track the weekly AI agenda and developments and publish them for the community.
Role overview
On Magibu's community pillar we need volunteers who monitor weekly developments in AI and turn them into a clear, trustworthy agenda for the community. Goal: keep members current and sustain a consistent “what happened in AI this week” flow in the newsletter and social channels.
Volunteer role. No salary is planned for this position. If community or academy activities generate direct revenue, that revenue is shared directly among volunteers on this team.
What you will do
- Weekly agenda tracking: scan and prioritize models, papers, open-source releases, policy/regulation, and industry news from trusted sources (arXiv, HuggingFace, company blogs, reputable newsletters, etc.)
- Summarize & publish: write Turkish summaries; produce ready copy/blocks for the weekly newsletter, community announcements, and social posts
- Accuracy & tone: separate speculation from facts, cite sources, match Magibu’s plain, technical-friendly voice
- Coordinate the content calendar with events/social volunteers and company marketing
Who is a good fit?
People who follow AI closely and enjoy reading papers/news and writing short summaries. Deep model-training expertise is not required — curiosity, consistency, and clear written Turkish matter most.
Responsibilities
- →Scan sources and prioritize the weekly AI agenda
- →Summarize selected developments in Turkish with source links for publication
- →Produce the agenda section for the weekly newsletter and community announcements
- →Short agenda notes and posting suggestions for social media
- →Align publishing calendar with events and promotion teams
Requirements
- ✓Regular follow-up of AI news, models, or the research ecosystem
- ✓Short, clear summaries; fluent written Turkish
- ✓Care with citations and sharing verifiable information
- ✓Ability to read English sources and convey them in Turkish
