Community Events & Social Media Volunteer

We need at least 3 volunteers who can organize events and run social media promotion.

Role overview

On Magibu's community pillar we need volunteers to grow open-source projects, the weekly newsletter, and meetups. Goal: keep the community visible, welcoming, and active in the Magibu ecosystem.

Volunteer role. No salary is planned for this position. If community or academy activities generate direct revenue, that revenue is shared directly among volunteers on this team.

What you will do

Event organization: plan and promote online (Discord/Zoom/YouTube Live) and in-person meetups; track attendees
Social promotion: short copy, visual briefs, and posting calendar for launches, newsletter issues, hackathons, demo days
Community growth: contribution calls, light issue triage, onboarding new members (deep technical mentoring not required)
Coordinate content with company marketing and academy operations

Who is a good fit?

People with event, community, or social media experience who are curious about AI and communicate clearly. Portfolio or past event examples are a plus.

→Onboarding newcomers toward projects

Requirements

✓At least one social media or event organization experience
✓Basic visual layout — Canva or similar
✓Turkish content creation; English posts are a plus
✓Respectful, consistent tone in community communication
